County Government to host Red Cross Blood DrivesBlood Drive at the County Government Building Sept. 21st @ 10am to 3pm

Hardin County Government will begin serving as a monthly hosting site for The American Red Cross, beginning Monday, September 21. These Elizabethtown Community Blood Drives will be held on the 3rd floor of the Hardin County Government Building located at 150 N. Provident Way.

Each drive will begin at 10 am and last until 3 pm. Appointments are encouraged, but not required. Visit RedCrossBlood.org for information, details about blood donations and requirements or to make an appointment.

“There have been too many instances where blood shortages have occurred in our region and nationally as well. We here at the County Government just want to do our small part and make these public facilities available for such a needed cause,” Hardin County Government Communications Officer Brian Walker said. “Give the gift of life is often said. And it’s true. It costs you nothing to donate blood. You could literally save a person’s life with only a little bit of your time and a small needle stick in your arm.”

Fall into the habit of donating! Get a $15 e-gift care when you come to give blood.
